Prepare to Helldive Roughnecks

Helldivers 2 has taken the gaming world by storm. It is one of the most popular games of the past however long, there are even Instagram accounts providing updates to get people back in the fight for democracy.

The game is heavily inspired by the cult classic film Starship Troopers. Casper Van Dien who played main character Johnny Rico recently appeared on Gamology to react to footage of Helldivers 2.

”I’m an expert because i’m Johnny Rico from Starship Troopers and Helldivers 2 is a tribute to Starship Troopers and Starship Troopers is awesome” Van Dien said.
