Bridge Pro Wrestling-26 April 2024

The 26th of April saw the 2nd ever show for Bridge Pro Wrestling. Frowned Upon attended the event after an invitation from promoter Ryan Parrot.

The show was headlined by former WWE NXT UK superstar Millie Mckenzie and the Lyrical Dragon Man Like Dereiss. The Bad Girl Chantal Jordan faced Alexxis Falcon in what ended up being a handicap match with Falcons tag partner Charles Crowley. The Cheeky Little Buggers.

Natalie Sykes took on her mentor Liam Slater. A tag match between Dead Sea Souls Steve Valentino and CJ Rawlings versus the 21st Century Villain Luke Douglas and The Inquisitor Alec Connors. The team of Nyte Sky took on Lila Kyle and Tom Anstey.

There was also a chaotic 5 man scramble match with Samuel Hughes, Will Stevens, Amir Jordan, Zac Walker and Joshua Kemper. There was also a Kamikaze Pro Live Showcase match between Speed Demon Edgar Adams and The Skywalker Nate Reilly.

The show saw honest to goodness fantastic character work. The 5 man scramble was full of it, Natalie Sykes plays a fantastic heel and The Cheeky Little Buggers tag team of Charles Crowley and Alexxis Falcon are now my new favourites to watch.

Man Like Dereiss as always makes everything he does look effortless and Millie Mckenzie showed just how good she is in the ring.

Both participants in the Kamikaze Pro Showcase were phenomenal…simply phenomenal. The speed and the smoothness of every move of the two was almost difficult to follow. Both competitors are performing at as close to the highest level as they can get. The Skywalkers in ring character work has also improved leaps and bounds since I last got the chance to see him. Surely one to watch.

MVP of the show however has gotta go to CJ Rawlings. The clips in the highlight reel was just a fraction of the incredible spots he hit during his match.

Bridge Pro Wrestling is sure to be a successful name in the local indie scene. This show was sold out and brilliant and multiple people in the crowd said the first show was just as brilliant. Good things ahead for the Stourbridge promotion.
