Mandy Rose Released from the WWE

What is WWE’s issus with the womens tag-team division?

From booking a pointless losing team breaks up match with the IIconics vs the Riott Squad, getting rid of one of the only two teams at the time. Then disbanding the Riott Squad, Absolution, Fire ‘n’ Desire and now Damage CTRL.

The majority of these were replaced by hastily thrown together teams of two singles stars for no reason than adding depth to the singles championship stories.

That treatment was regulary done under Vince McMahon and so far Triple H has not done it but an old habit of his has came out.

For years the reason given to why Chyna wasn’t in the Hall of Fame was due to her forays into the adult film industry…even though fellow Kliq member X-Pac was in the very same videos.

Seemingly this has happened again, with Mandy Rose after a Hall of Fame worthy 413 day reign as NXT Womens Champ.

Fightful Select announced her release after discovering Rose has been using a subscription site, not Onlyfans but a different site of the same kind of explicit nature. “An abrupt decision” was made just hours before the nights show to drop the title.

The reason given is that this is outside of her contract perametres, in a business where both men and women go out with barely anything on, slightly explicit pictures are too far for this “PG” company.

Obviously this is insane as at one point the superstars were able to get playboy modelling gigs just from being a contracted wrestler in the WWE.

Not only is this such a shame for Mandy Rose however this could take away from Roxanne Perez’s title reign, as she is a champion of circumstance.

The other thing that will influence this is the shows sponsors not wanting this kind of press associated. But obviously simulated violence in wrestling and many US advertisements for guns is fine, but god forbid in this modern women empowered world you show a bit of skin.

And quite honestly there are enough creeper sites online hacking and leaking images like this of anyone in the public eye, I would say it’s a better thing for people to own their own images.

Such a fantastic and compelling performer gone for a frankly bizarre reason. I’m sure after the no compete clause is up she will have great success somewhere like Stardom, Impact or AEW.
