Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling has been revived by Scott D’Amore

Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling (MLP) has been a cornerstone of professional wrestling since the 1930’ and is now fortunate to be helmed by one of the finest wrestling minds of this generation.

After Scott D’Amore was shockingly fired from TNA, after leading them to record highs of popularity. He was rumoured to join AEW and take over Ring of Honor, he was rumoured to join WWE and take over NXT, he has however now revived an ancient name in wrestling.

This promotion dates back to the 1930s and has seen the most legendary names in the business step into its squared circle. Lou Thesz, Bruno Sammartino and the Nature Boy Ric Flair are some of the legacy names.

Based in Ontario, Canada, MLP claims to be dedicated to delivering world class wrestling entertainment while continuing to honour the legacy that originally made MLP a global sensation.

Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling is Rooted in Excellence

Since the announcement of Scott D’Amore resurrecting the brand they have forged partnerships with Qatar Pro Wrestling and Oceania Pro Wrestling to form the Pro Wrestling Alliance. Scott D’Amore has also recently spoken Chris Van Vliet about what has happened since leaving TNA.

Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling is set to air their first event ‘Forged in Excellence’ live on Triller TV, straight from the ST. Clair College in Ontario. This show, taking place on October 19th and 20th promises to be an unforgettable event with huge stars. Tickets can be found here.

The huge stars in question feature Josh Alexander, Kushida, Kylie Rae, Gisele Shaw, Raj Dhesi (FKA Jinder Mahal), El Phantasmo, Konosuke Takeshita and Trevor Lee (FKA Cameron Grimes).

The first match announced on this show will see Josh Alexander take on Konosuke Takeshita, with more fantastic match ups sure to follow. But who will be the voice of this legendary brand moving forward? None other than one of the most popular voices in wrestling…Mauro Ranallo.
