Alex Hammerstone ex-MLW champ signs with TNA

Following a TNA press release we have learned that Alex Hammerstone, the former Major League Wrestling World Champion, has signed a deal with TNA. The exciting news on February 29, making it official that he is now a full-time member of the TNA roster.

“I’m excited to join TNA Wrestling and was honoured to be part of the historic Hard To Kill event in January. I cannot wait for the rematch against Josh Alexander,” Hammerstone said. “The TNA roster is loaded with incredible talent and many first-ever dream matches.”

What an aquisition by Total Nonstop Action. Getting one of the most desirable free agent to sign. In an additional exciting development, it was confirmed that Hammerstone is set to clash with Josh Alexander once again at TNA Sacrifice, scheduled for March 8.

Hammerstone bid farewell to Major League Wrestling in late 2023 after a notable stint with the promotion. His debut match at TNA’s Hard to Kill event back in January ended in defeat against oponent Josh Alexander. But it clearly signalled the beginning of a new chapter in his career.

“It’s time to get to work”

Details about the duration of the contract and whether he is now exclusively tied to TNA remain undisclosed. Besides his engagements with TNA, Hammerstone has showcased his talents in promotions like GCW and various other independent circuits since his departure from MLW.
