Elementary dear Frogwares. The Ukrainian video game developer celebrating its 20th year, is bringing out the new Sherlock Holmes game this April.

April 11^th coming to Xbox, Playstation, Switch and PC is Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened, a reimagined version of the 2007 Lovecraftian horror/thriller game.

Not long into the partnership of Holmes and Watson they set out to investigate an Eldritch god-obsessed cult hellbent on enacting a world changing prophecy.

The gameplay is a mixture of puzzle solving with a ‘mind palace’ mini-game along with some hand to hand combat.

There are three versions of the game; standard edition which comes with the game, the Deluxe edition that comes with The Whispered Dreams DLC giving you bonus side quests and outfits.

For PC players you can get the Premium Edition where you get all of the above along with a digital artbook and game soundtrack.

Pre-orders of any level get an additional three outfits called “The Sleuth’s Attire”.

The original game received a respectable 72/100 on Metacritic, an 8.3 from Gamespot and a 6/10 from Eurogamer.

With current technologies this game has every chance to be a visually stunning and enthralling experience.

With technology ever changing and games more often than not being delayed for months (looking at you Cyberpunk and Starfield) being able to get this game out in their circumstances is incredible.

All of this is even more impressive when you remember that the developers office is currently in one of the worst war-zones of the modern era.
