Could 2024 be TNA’s Most Impact-ful Year Yet?

1

TNA Wrestling is back people, they made an Impact but have now decided to go back to their roots.

Total Nonstop Action (TNA) is the promotion that first got my interest into the battles inside the squared circle. This site going forward will have a lot of information about TNA, this first post being a rundown of all the big news from the latter part of 2023.

*Breaking News*

While editing this article the news dropped that TNA President and incredible booker Scott D’Amore has been terminated by Anthem. TNA is now under the guidance of Anthony Cicione who has spent years as a producer for media networks.

There has been a lot of shocking news in the past few years that has reshaped the wrestling business. But this story really has shot up there.

Name Change-Impact back to TNA

The biggest piece of news of the year is that Impact Wrestling has changed their name back to TNA. TNA was still the chant heard throughout their time as Impact and is a welcome return to form for the company.

-TNA Press Release

“We still hear TNA chants wherever we go. Fans have longed for TNA Wrestling so that’s what we’re bringing back in 2024.”

Total Nonstop Toy Action

For all of you collectors out there you will be to know that TNA has partnered with ‘Powertown’ to produce a whole range of TNA action figures and other accessories.

Pre-sale for the first series of figures will begin in March of 2024 and the figures themselves will be shipped out in August of the same year.

“This partnership will allow us to leverage our expertise in developing high quality action figures and accessories to bring to market a line of products that will be exciting for wrestling fans worldwide”.

-Steve Rosenthal, Co-Founder of Relativity Worldwide the parent company to Powertown

Steve Rosenthal will be known to action figure collectors as the former Vice-President of Marketing at Remco Toys. They helped to create the original wrestling figure craze back in the ‘80’s in line with the AWA (American Wrestling Association).

This pedigree means great things for the TNA toy line.

Endeavour Partneryship-TNA +

TNA and WWE are partnered with the same Network!?! I wonder if that will lead to any Rumblings of a crossover…oh wait it Royally has.

This partnership will have Endeavour Streaming powering the TNA app. TNA + is the streaming app for the company but now has a whole new look.

Working the same as any other streaming service where you can watch past shows, original shows, Pay-Per-Views and even a chance to interact with some of the companies’ stars.

This revamped TNA app launched on the 5th of January.

TNA UK Invasion Tour

TNA came back over to these shores in 2023 for a UK Invasion Tour. This was the first time in 8 years that TNA came over. Frowned Upon was lucky enough to be invited along to a couple of shows and it was a fantastic event.

The tour saw appearances from Grado, Cultaholics Tom Campbell and a whole heap of TNA mainstays like Frankie Kazarian, Moose and Gail Kim.

More information here.

TNA Partners with StarTimes

A small bit of news here has seen TNA partner with StarTimes to bring exclusive TNA content to more than 30 countries throughout Africa.
