Bethesda upped the ante with the release of the Starfield Constellation Edition, offering fans a collector’s dream alongside the highly anticipated game launch\u2026unlike Fallout 76\u2026which had a terrible pre-order bonus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This special edition boasts a collectible steelbook case, a digital game download with a unique code etched onto a Credstik, a Constellation patch, and the standout feature: The Chronomark Watch, which steals the spotlight with its sleek design and impressive packaging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following in the footsteps of the Pip-boy alongside Fallout 4, the Chronomark Watch aims to immerse players in the Starfield universe. However, while it looks the part, its functionality as a legitimate smartwatch and fitness tool is questionable. Also without any kind of in-game companion app like with Fallout\u2019s Pip-boy it really does lack. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Equipped with various exploration features, fitness tracking, weather display, notifications, and music control, the Chronomark Watch offers a taste of the Starfield experience. But its reliance on a custom two-pronged magnetic charging dock and the need for a firmware update out of the box raise concerns about its practicality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite its promising features, the watch falls short in some areas. The step tracker lacks accuracy, notifications are often delayed, and connectivity issues with external apps like Apple’s Health and weather apps diminish its overall utility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nevertheless, the Chronomark Watch’s design is commendable, featuring a comfortable silicone band and additional fabric band in the kit. Engraved with Starfield insignia, it serves as a stylish homage to the game universe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the Starfield Constellation Edition offers an enticing package for fans, the Chronomark Watch may be more of a collector’s item than a functional smartwatch. I am very happy that I own one\u2026but it was a bit of a let down. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
