It has been flying around the internet a lot recently about what Stephen Ogg<\/mark> thinks about his Grand Theft Auto 5 character Trevor.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite playing other characters like Simon in The Walking Dead who share traits with Trevor, Steven Ogg seems to not want to be known for his video game role. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both Shawn Fonteno<\/a> who voiced Franklin and Ned Luke<\/a> who voiced Michael have given their side on Dan Allen Gaming.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trevor hates himself<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Shawn Fonteno<\/mark> said: \u201cSteven wants to be recognised as Steven Ogg, he don\u2019t want you coming up calling him Trevor.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt is shitty to me, he was nobody before he was a little actor, I mean he was somebody but not who he is today, he did plays and he did his thang, but this thing put him on a pedestal so high afterwards.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTrevor is a fucking iconic character, a protagonist, Trevor is unique he\u2019s the king of hillbillys\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ned Luke<\/mark> said: \u201cHe had a few acting credits but he\u2019s turning it up right now, he doesn\u2019t like being called Trevor.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHe wants to be recognised for his other work not GTA 5, he\u2019s not a gamer, he says it\u2019s a cartoon.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHis work in it is fantastic you know. I don\u2019t think he should poopoo anything he\u2019s done.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI don\u2019t talk to him about it, if he hates that he did it that\u2019s fine, if he loves that he did it that\u2019s fine.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All of this started when a GTA YouTuber called Hugo One paid $140 on Cameo to record a message as Trevor for the new GTA 6<\/a> characters. It did not go down too well with Stephen Ogg who said this in his reply.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stephen Ogg<\/mark> said: \u201cHe [Hugo One] wanted me to give you this message from Trevor. Which, of course, I\u2019m not Trevor. My name is Steven. And I am an actor. So, I get it, in a sense, and I don\u2019t get it in a big sense as well. As actors you portray different characters and it would be literally impossible for me to be a cartoon. I can\u2019t be\u2026 I need to get that off my chest. I just sometimes don\u2019t f*****g understand. I get it and I don\u2019t get it, right.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHugo wanted to make sure that both of you are careful in Vice City,\u201d Ogg continues. \u201cI don\u2019t know what that is. I think it\u2019s maybe part of the GTA thing. But anyway it\u2019s dangerous out there. Watch out for the cops in Port Gellhorn \u2013 I don\u2019t understand that reference. And I\u2019ll see you out there, because I\u2019m a cartoon, right? Because none of it\u2019s real. What a f*****g world.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
