 Supersonic Fuzz Gun (incredible name) will take a spot on any \u201cbands to watch list\u201d in the Midlands area, bringing huge energy to the punk, post-punk and indie scene. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2023 saw the release of their EP \u2018Tone Death\u2019, a selection of tracks designed to show off the kind of energy the band gives off in person. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To anyone reading that\u2019s not fully immersed in the music world and all of its lingo, the word \u2018crunchy\u2019 wont make a huge amount of sense, but the EP is just that\u2026crunchy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Track 1 of the EP is \u2018What\u2019s The Big Idea\u2019 following the structure of pure Post-Punk<\/a>, high intensity, dirty tones and sprechgesang (yes, I got a B in Music GCSE) which is the posh word for the shouted lyrics found in punk music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The band says its main influence comes from The\u00a0Libertine Pixies, but once you start listening, you\u2019ll start hearing other influences like\u00a0Oasis\/Blur\/Radiohead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Track 2 \u2018Funny Picture\u2019 brings the intensity down blending Indie and Post-Punk ideas and is the track that shows the obvious Blur and Radiohead influences. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The band’s sound means it\u2019s a real shame that Tony Hawk doesn\u2019t make games anymore. Supersonic Fuzz Guns sound would fit perfectly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Track 3 is the title track \u2018Tone Death\u2019 and is yet another fantastic track from this young band. Open up this link here<\/a> in another tab from a live performance at one of Worcesters music venues Firefly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The EP ends with \u2018Mr Chlorine\u2019 a track that shows off the singers voice and range in this style and is a brilliant way to end the EP. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Talented beyond their years, and surely to be one to watch coming out of this area in the next few years after already performing at the Worcester Music Festival in the last couple of years, the 02 Institute in Birmingham as well as other music venues like Paradiddles and The Sunflower Lounge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
