 The storm has arrived with the release Gin Annie\u2019s new song release \u201cNot Gonna Take It\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new song, that will feature on their new album\u00a0\u2018Undivided\u2019, has been teased on their social sites, played on\u00a0BBC Music Introducing,\u00a0along with a teaser on\u00a0Frowned Upon<\/a>\u00a0ahead of its full release.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Frowned Upon has been lucky enough to be sent the song a week early and here is what I thought. Enjoy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s the anthem you have been waiting for. It\u2019s a song that\u2019s all about standing up for yourself, never giving up and to always keep fighting no matter what.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anthem is the correct word, the clear and clean vocals over a heavy thunderous beat give this song a great sense of presence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main thing about Gin Annie I love is that juxtaposition between heavy instruments and the clear vocals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ll be attending the Wolverhampton date of their upcoming tour and can\u2019t wait to hear this song live and with a crowd. It has also been teased that two more songs from the new album, \u2018Rain\u2019 and \u2018Crazy\u2019 will be on the set lists. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It will be going straight into my gym playlist upon release. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A simply fantastic message of not giving up is made throughout the song meaning anyone can relate to this track. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like I said in my Nakedium<\/a> review the use of a dropping the instruments and isolating the vocals at some sections is *chefs kiss*. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everyone has bands and songs recommended to them and you might think \u201cdon\u2019t waste my time, i\u2019ve heard it all before\u201d. This has quickly become one of my favourite tracks and if you like any form of rock, it is sure to become one of yours too, and that\u2019s a Frowned Upon promise. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Great vocals, impactful lyrics, heavy instruments and a pounding drumbeat\u2026what more could you want?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
